We are delighted to announce that Iain Ferguson has joined the CryptoCycle Advisory Board.
Iain was named as Number 7 in the Grocer Packaging Power List and is renowned in the industry as the environmental packaging expert, having worked at Co-op for over 30 years with the remit to make sure that Co-op was doing “everything right”, from packaging, reuse and recycling, through to food waste.
Iain chaired the Rationalisation of Packaging Working Group which worked to make packaging more recyclable and in 2021 spearheaded the national rollout of the in-store flexible plastics recycling scheme. Iain has also led a number of initiatives in reducing food waste.
In 2021, and after 3 decades Iain left the Co-op and we are delighted that he has decided to join the Reward4Waste team as Board Advisor.
When asked about his decision to join Reward4Waste Iain said…
“Reward4Waste is one of the most exciting and innovative start-ups tackling waste through reuse and recycling. Their pioneering technology engages citizens and brings transparency, traceability and accountability to the supply chain, two critical factors in reducing waste.
With EPR, Consistency in Collections and DRS on the horizon, Reward4Waste is perfectly placed to respond. I look forward to help shape the future of Reward4Waste.”
